About the event
MIC DROP is a competitive hip-hop rap battle at VIPS-TC’s Spandan 2026. The event will feature one-on-one lyrical face-offs, followed by a Beat Wheel Challenge in which qualifying artists perform on randomly assigned genres. Participants will be evaluated by a panel of judges on their lyrical creativity, flow, delivery, adaptability and overall performance. The event aims to provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent, encourage creative expression and celebrate hip-hop culture within the college community.
